Meghan Mathias is my name, empowering women and couples through photography is my aim! But please— call me Megs!

I am obsessed with showing people their true beauty and helping them see themselves in a way they never thought possible, through the lens of love and acceptance. My love for photography started when I was just a child, and the twinkle in my eye for boudoir photography sparked back in 2015 after becoming a mom in my first year of college. Going into college, I knew I wanted to do photography but I had no clue what genre I would actually have passion for. Then I discovered the genre of boudoir through my cousin who was also a boudoir photographer at the time. After practicing on a few friends, and realizing how they felt during and after their shoot in comparison to how they felt beforehand, and how exhilarating it was to have that affect on others, I fell in love and from that moment on, I knew how I wanted to pursue my photography career.

A little more about my personal life; I am 28 years young, a college graduate majoring in photography, I am married to the love of my life and have created three handsome little boys with him. We are known as the M&M family because all of our names start with M, along with our last name!

I have lived in Fullerton, CA for about 13 years now (where I moved during my sophomore year of high school and my now-husband was my next door neighbor), but I originally grew up in Hesperia, CA, and I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii (which really isn’t as cool as it sounds because I’ve been a California resident since I was 3 months old, and have been yearning to go back to Hawaii since—number one on my bucket list)!

I love spending time with friends and family, living a healthy, active lifestyle (well, I try anyway), and legitimately FaceTiming with my mom every single day, and my little sister who has Rett Syndrome and they are both my best friends and heroes. They live in Oregon, so that is why you may catch me visiting out there and sometimes offering photo shoots while I am there as well.

For hobbies, I am a Yogi, and have always loved to sing and dance! I have a silly sense of humor, am friendly, giggly, and easy to get along with.

Some Fun Facts; I am also a certified yoga instructor (just haven’t taught a class since 2020),  I love astrology and I am a TRIPLE Cancerian (hellooo emotions!),  and I have been singing since I could talk…aside from being a boudoir photographer, another dream of mine has always been to go on American Idol or The Voice buuuuut the thought of being famous kind of terrifies me.
